RB Waterproofing has been in the industry for over 20 years. Based in Greater London, they are well known in the area, and much of their work comes from word of mouth.
They mainly focus on structuring waterproofing, rising damp solutions, cavity membrane systems, and basements. They pride themselves on forming solid and long-term relationships with their clients.
Delivering Web Design & Development Services to RB Waterproofing LTD
We sat down with the owner, Ramunas, to discuss the web design. He explained that they didn’t have a website and would need one starting from scratch. We always like it when we can start with a blank canvas, as it allows us to be more creative with what we come up with.
The site aimed to showcase the company’s services and credentials to potential clients. Therefore, it had to look professional and communicate the company’s expertise and reliability in the waterproofing industry. On the home page, we added all their accrediting with their logos to help build trust with potential customers.
Conversion-Focused Design with Clear Calls to Action
To help convert website visitors into clients, we added clear calls to action throughout the site. The one nearest the top encourages users to “Book a survey,” which can be done from the home page.
On each of the services pages, a sticky side with a contact call to action always stays present to make it easy for the user to get in touch.
Showcasing Case Studies for Potential Clients
It was important to showcase some case studies on the site, showing the different types of buildings (small and large) they have worked on and detailing what was done on each job.
SEO-Friendly Web Design for Better Ranking
Making the website easy to use was crucial. We created a different web page design for each of the four main services. This made it easy for the user to go directly to the service they required and was also great for SEO.
There is a much higher chance that Google will rank an individual service page higher than combining all the services into one page.
Mobile-First and Responsive Design
As with all websites we create, we ensured that their website worked well on all devices, focusing on mobile first, as most people now visit websites on their phones rather than on a desktop computer.
Easy Website Updates with WordPress
The website was also built on WordPress, a content management system and our preferred platform. This means the client can edit any information that they need to change urgently. We always help them with big changes, such as adding new pages.
